Kampala, Uganda | URN | Uganda Airlines will have its inaugural flight this Tuesday 27th and the maiden flight on Wednesday 28th as earlier scheduled.
The inaugural flight will be for selected people who will include technical officers, government officials, and members of the media. This was revealed by the ministry of Works and Transport spokesperson Susan Kataike.
The flight will depart from Entebbe International Airport to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) at 10:00 am. Although on its website, Uganda Airlines indicates it has no flight on Tuesday, Uganda Airlines hopes to use the marketing flight to warm into the hearts of Ugandans as it tussles it out with the established players.

The announcement for change of the maiden flight was made by ministry of Works, not the airline, via a tweet on Sunday, prompting a section of the public to ask whether plans for the maiden flight had changed.
Wednesday was announced as the day for the maiden commercial flight with take off for JKIA scheduled at 6:00 am.
