Kampala, Uganda | URN | Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni has revealed that the Uganda Peoples Defense Force (UPDF) has killed a notorious Allied Democratic Force (ADF) commander Meddie Nkalubo, in a recent raid on the ADF camps in the Eastern DR Congo.
Using his (formerly Twitter) X handle on September 23rd 2023, President Museveni informed Ugandans “especially the Bazzukulu” that on Saturday 16th 2023 the UPDF Air force attacked four ADF terrorists’ targets and that unconfirmed numbers of the militias have been killed.
“These uninformed people have been playing with deadly fire for a long time,” wrote the President. “They will now discover that killing Ugandans is not a good hobby. In this part of the World, there is nowhere we cannot get them, if we coordinate with the Governments of the sister countries.”
The president said the areas were between Kms 100 and Kms 150 from the Uganda border on Ntoroko side adding that this site has been located by “assets” from the special duty regiments (SDR) that have good reconnaissance assets.

He commended his counterpart, His Excellency Felix Tshisekedi for allowing UPDF to work with the Congo Army FARDC to liberate this part of Congo.
Museveni recounted the recent killing of the Nyabugaando children by cutting them with pangas, the Sheikhs, Major Kiggundu, Gen. Katumba’s daughter, Joan Kagezi, etcetera and warned that All those involved will perish unless they surrender.
