Surviving against odds: Pastor Bugingo’s resilience after assassination attempt

Kampala, Uganda | By Michael Wandati | Pastor Aloysius Bugingo from the House of Prayer Ministries has addressed the public following his survival of an assassination attempt.

The incident occurred on Tuesday night when Pastor Bugingo was attacked by unidentified assailants while on his way home, leading to the tragic death of his bodyguard.

Just hours after the incident, Pastor Bugingo appeared in a video posted on social media, reassuring everyone that he is in an improved condition.

He expressed gratitude to God for saving his life.

“I am still alive, thank for you for praying for me, and I ask you to continue praying for me. Unfortunately, our servant Richard Muhumuza lost his life. I was able to rush to Mulago Hospital where I received treatment, and they have sent me more doctors to give me more treatment. I’m in a stable situation,” Pastor Bugingo said.
